Jack Reacher
I think that Jack Reacher follows the enigma theory as there is no explanation as to why the man is shooting innocent people. The editing techniques that are used include:
-cross-cutting is used to show the sniper’s expression and what the sniper sees through his scope
- L-cut is used to show that the police have arrived, using the police siren -smash cuts are used to show the arrival of the police at the scene of the shooting
-action match is seen in the opening sequence as this editing technique is used to show the sniper shooting, hiding, reloading and shooting again.
-Jump cut is used to show the sniper and, at a different angle, what the sniper is viewing through his scope.
